Dyum Charts On iTunes With “Portland Gyal” Single

Fast-rising dancehall artiste Dyum has been enjoying an impressive run of form musically. The singjay, who recently released his debut album entitled Voice Inside, has once again made his way onto the international charts, having peaked at number five on the USA iTunes Reggae Singles Chart with his single entitled “Portland Gyal”, which is produced by Kevin Menezes. According to Dyum, he is enjoying his career growth.

“A plaques pon plaques enuh suh yuh know its a good look. The fans are clearly enjoying the movements suh me just a bask in the moments as they unfold,” Dyum stated.

The singjay's debut album was also featured on the iTunes Reggae Albums Chart a few weeks prior and peaked at number six. The artiste says he is of the view that fans are craving globally appealing music, which is why his songs are getting such success on the global stage.

“The more universal you make your content the better chance you have of gaining traction internationally. I believe that topic selection and imagery both play vital roles in terms of one's ability to tap into major markets. My goal is to become a global brand and as such I write and present my music with that in mind,” Dyum stated.

Currently, Dyum is busy making the rounds promoting his Voice Inside album and the visuals for his “Portland Gyal” single. The artiste says he has invested the time needed to master his craft.

“My sound and mindset have evolved over time and I feel very confident that I am now ready to make my mark in a major way,” Dyum stated.
