Jay Z Releases 'Bam' Featuring Damian Marley

JAY-Z has released his highly anticipated new album 4:44 which features a banger single with reggae artiste Damian Marley.

Jay visited Jamaica earlier this month after-which comes his “Bam” track produced by American producer No I.D. which samples reggae singer Sister Nancy.

“The song ‘Bam’ with Damian Marley, it’s just jammin’, it’s just like the song,” Jay explains during an exclusive interview on iHeartRadio where he broke down the stories behind the each of the 10 tracks on 4:44. “But it’s secretly Shawn Carter saying, ‘Man, you need a bit of ego.’ It was because of me and the things that I’ve done, this is JAY-Z saying you needed a bit of ego for us to arrive at this point.”

Marley is currently on a European tour and focusing on his forthcoming album Stony Hill to be released worldwide on July 21.
