Dexta Daps Still In Police Custody

Dancehall artiste Dexta Daps, who was arrested on Wednesday, was still in custody Thursday afternoon.

The artiste, whose given name is Louis Grandison, was detained by detectives from the St. Andrew South Police Division and the Major Investigations Division.

His attorney, Peter Champagnie, reported that Grandison has not been charged.

He said he has indicated to the police that his client is available to be interviewed in relation to whatever investigations that are being pursued.

Champagnie is awaiting a response from the police.
